The Pollinators Need Us…
…and we really need them!
Who doesn’t like flowers, whether in your garden or just in pots?
Pollinators, like butterflies and bees, are essential for life on this planet to thrive and continue. They’re not only beautiful and interesting, they support the growth of vegetables and fruits that fill our food supply.
But now, pollinators are in serious danger. Around * 80-90% * of the monarch butterfly population alone has vanished. By helping our pollinators, we help all of us. It’s not difficult and doesn’t need to be costly.
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Plant the kinds of flowers that attract butterflies and bees. You can grow them from seeds (the cheaper way) or buy them from a nursery (and support a local business).
Check out the articles below for great information about the best flowers to plant to attract and support our endangered pollinators—with many different flowers to choose from.
