Meet Sahm.
Sahm
Dhani says Sahm told him he had to escape from Tibet because the government was planning to kidnap him. Maybe he was like a dissident or something.
He also told Dhani his religion teaches that everything on earth has a kind of life or awareness. Because he believes that, he treats everything and everyone with respect. Even rocks and dirt. Everything. Whatever.
Usually, I’m turned off by people who are always happy, the way Sahm always is. Why do they get to be happy? But Sahm is different. I like being around him. He’s kind to everyone, even the kids who complain a lot like Tia Leesha. Or smartass Garrett who puts other people down all the time. Sahm treats them with respect, too.
I want to get my thoughts down here without sounding trippy if that’s possible.
Sahm has a vibe. (I hate that I just wrote that word, but I don’t know what else to call it.) When you’re around him it makes you want to be good to people. He just sort of vibes shines. He’s open and giving all the time and I think that says it.
When he’s working around the animal clinic or in the different enclosures, the animals calm right down. Even if they’re injured and in pain they don’t bite or snap at him. They let him take care of them. He’s like a male nurse of wildlife.
Sometimes I hear him talking under his breath in Tibetan. I wonder if he’s talking to the trees or rocks or the clouds. Ridiculous thought, but I wonder if they actually say things back to him. Or he thinks they do?
