Thunder Falls

I love this spot. At first, we were forbidden to climb up the trail to the top of the falls on our own.

When they let us go up there, I could see why. There's a beautiful view of Lost Lake and Eagle Rock and Trinity Mountains. You can see Osprey Island where Steve Tanner goes to avoid us all. And the falls itself is beautiful.

But the ledge up beside the falls is totally dangerous. One slip and the current will carry you down onto the rocks below and you'll bash your brains out. Kate said that happened pretty often before she owned the property and posted "No Trespassing" warnings.

The thing is, though, I need to be alone a lot. And I hope they don't find out I sneak away here on my own to get away from everybody, and draw.
