Josephe “Jo” Rondeau

I admire everything this woman has accomplished. She’s a very skilled wildlife veterinarian and she knows how to run a clinic and a recovery facility. No wonder Kate Holman let’s her run the animal rehab part of the Lost Lake Program.

The other thing I admire about Jo is that she’s very strong and direct. She doesn’t seem to give a crap if men think she’s strong. Why should a woman have to “be nice” or sugar coat things? Who said it’s “not feminine”—whatever that means – to kick ass and take names later?

I wonder about her and Steve Tanner. I can’t tell if she’s closing in for the kill with him—because he clearly irritates her—or if she wants to jump his bones. (Then close in for the kill!)

I love that she loves all the animals she cares for, and that she's a great mentor.
