This girl acts like she’s a lot older. I mean that in a good way. She has her act together and she’s wise. About most things anyway. Which is why I can’t figure out how she is so stuck on some guy at home she won't talk about. What's he done wrong? I heard someone say they think he's in prison, but that's just a rumor.

How does that guy have such a hold on her? I never understand girls and women who just can’t tear themselves away from the really bad boys. Maybe Imani is afraid to dump that loser because she’s afraid of what will happen to her or her family if she does. Maybe he's like a violent thug.

I really, really like her, though. I guess I’m just scared for her.
